My sweet girl chikita passed away yesterday it was the hardest decision to make. I was so worried that she’d be anxious or uncomfortable before saying goodbye but the patience & care she received as well as my family was amazing. I don’t think i could ever think of putting a pet down in a vet again this was so beautiful and i’m so thankful she was able to pass like this. I highly recommend wildwood to anybody who has to make this tough decision! i miss you chikita thank you guys so much.

I can't believe it has been a month today that my little Gingerbear left me. I have been meaning to write a review but the time has slipped away so fast. Having her euthanized was the hardest decision I have ever made. But the loving kindness and patience and caring we both received was more than I could have asked for. Thank you for helping us with that last journey of this life. I miss her terribly but I believe she is out of pain now. Your kindness and compassion truly helped 💖.

I can't thank Dr. Amanda and Angelyn enough for their care and compassion at the passing of our beloved dog. They informed us as to what was happening at every step of the process and continued to talk to Shorty to make sure he knew he was not alone. They allowed us time to work through our bouts of grief and helped to allow Shorty to slip off peacefully and not in pain. If you are a pet parent looking for the best for your fur baby, you should look no further than Wildwood to help you when the time comes to say goodbye.

Our 14 year old pittie went downhill literally over a weekend. I called Wildwood on a Sunday and a very compassionate gentleman called me back within 20 minutes and scheduled a visit from Dr Amanda and Angelyn for the next morning at 10 am. They arrived and we were met with such compassion, patience and understanding. They did not rush the appointment and allowed us to say goodbye with our other 2 pets present so they could have closure. They treated our beloved pet as if their own and I couldn't have asked for a better goodbye. I'm so glad I called Wildwood and will recommend them over and over to anyone needing their services.

I have written this over and over trying to find the right words to say just how phenomenal Dr. Amanda, Angelyn, and Wildwood are. From the initial call to schedule a same day appointment, to the actual visit itself, and to all the support they have offered afterwards, I cannot recommend them enough. Every testimonial mentions how compassionate, gentle, and loving these people are, and yet I still feel like we cannot say it enough. They gave me and my cat Etienne the space to say goodbye on our own terms and at our own pace, and I cannot thank them enough for the kindness, grace, and patience they showed us. I am grateful to have found them, and will sing their praises to anyone who will listen. From the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of my sweet boy Etienne, thank you so much for bringing him and my family peace.

It is a privilege to add my voice to the praise for the home euthanasia services provided by Dr. Amanda and Angelyn. When my 6-year-old cat suddenly developed an aggressive lung cancer and was immediately placed in palliative care with only weeks to live, I wanted to have home euthanasia to ease her transition. The testimonials on the Wildwood web site made my choice easy. These were the people I wanted with us. It all went so fast, with only a week from diagnosis to seeing signs of rapid decline, and when my cat would not let me comfort her anymore, I knew she was suffering too much and trying to hide it. I called and spoke with a very understanding woman named Laurie (spelling may not be correct). She made sure I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. I was able to complete the consent forms and payment before the appointment, so every minute was devoted to enabling my cat to cross over the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Amanda and Angelyn arrived on time with text confirmation. What stands out to me is how they spoke to my cat during the whole process, as well as to me and my son who was with me. My cat was acknowledged, whether or not she was capable of knowing it, so comforting to me. They cared for her as the much-loved pet who gave me so much joy for the 2.5 years I had to love her. They explained everything as it happened and worked flawlessly as a team. I was able to pet my cat and whisper in her ear the entire time. Angelyn created a lovely paw print and Dr. Amanda obtained a clipping of fur for me to cherish. I never felt rushed and was able to participate in the transition process. When it was time to take her to the crematorium, they had a lovely basket with a pillow and blanket that they lovingly tucked her into. We could spend as much time as needed with her after death. Within a day, I received an email expressing their condolences and offering grief support contacts.
It is my hope that their services can be offered to others, and I have sent a contribution to help start a charity fund, as Dr. Amanda has indicated she has had other inquiries about doing this. Every loved pet should be able to experience this beautiful, loving death. I will be forever grateful.- Margaret (Vancouver, WA)

I would like to thank Dr. Amanda and Angelyn for their compassion and care they provided in helping say good-bye to our beloved Limon. They provided a calming atmosphere to our home even when our other younger lab thought he should be the center of attention. Limon was a part of our lives and so many others through the years of her being a therapy dog. Helping her pass peacefully was a great comfort to our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Words cannot describe nor convey our feelings of appreciation for your very kind, gentle, and considerate assistance given to "Juneau", Kate and me on September 28th, 2024.
I must apologize for taking so long to send this note. Juneau was such a large part of our lives for 15 years and when she became sick and we watched her bravely hold on and then slip away, it pretty much stopped us in our tracks. We know she is in a better place. We feel her soul around us and within us everyday. We pray that you will be able to continue your work as we know how hard it must be, but it is so important. You two are amazing individuals and make a good team.
With thanks, Sincerely yours,- Don & Kate (Washougal, WA)

We are eternally grateful for the support and respect demonstrated by Dr. Amanda and Angelyn when they came to help our kitty cross the rainbow bridge. We were unsure when the "right" time would be, as my little guy was still eating and drinking but he just could not hold onto any weight and was clearly not well. Dr. Amanda was very reassuring in helping us feel that we were making this choice at the right time, but without any pressure or convincing us - just a respectful and honest conversation. It will never feel right, but it felt as right as it could in that moment. They were both very gentle and made sure everyone was as comfortable as possible. I know deep in my heart he felt no pain and was not afraid. I owe his peaceful passing to Dr. Amanda and Angelyn. I am so grateful they have chosen to dedicate their lives to help people and pets through unimaginable grief and sadness. To anyone considering in-home services, look no further. They far exceeded my expectations and I know my little guy left in the hands of people who will ensure he is taken care of, even beyond leaving our home. I cannot imagine having done this in any other way. Thank you.

It’s difficult to put into words the gratitude and appreciation I have for Dr. Amanda and Angelyn. They are an amazing team that came to my aid to assist me to support my dear pup, Corrida, through her transition.
First, they cover the rural area in which I live in Columbia County and are the only in-home vets that do. I am beyond grateful for that. And they were able to come within hours of my making my request...that’s simply amazing and so caring. It was a very difficult decision to discern. Is it really time to do this? My girl still seemed to have more life in her. The moment they arrived at my home, I felt ease and comfort. And so did both of my dogs.
Dr. Amanda quickly assessed I was doing the right thing and that it was indeed time. They realized her needs and catered her treatment plan specifically to her higher charged anxious state. They soothed me, allowed my other dog to be present the entire time…we even had a few laughs along the way at Corrida’s undying funny personality until the final moments of her life. The work Dr. Amanda and Angelyn do is clearly their calling and a dearly needed service in honor of our pet companions as we let them go from our lives. I recommend Wildwood highly. You and your pet companions are in the best hands with them. Forever grateful.- Kate (Scappoose, OR)

We have had four legged family members for 40+ years. The joy of meeting them as puppies is no where near the emotions when it’s time to pass. Dr Amanda and Angelyn supported us and our family member Blue through this difficult time. They honored our Blue in a way I will never forget. Their kindness, understanding, and sensitivity helped us transition Blue. There were a lot of tears, but there was also a calming created by them. It’s a memory I’ll always cherish. Thank you for all you do.

One of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make was made easier by the kindness and compassion from Dr. Amanda and Angelyn. These ladies were so sweet and understanding of the torrent of emotions I was experiencing having to say goodbye to my sweet baby Sammers, and were equally as gentle and loving to my senior kitty during his final moments. I was never made to feel rushed, instead I felt they both took extra time to talk to me (and Sammy) about the process and what it would look and feel like. I highly recommend Wildwood for anyone considering at-home euthanasia for their pet, I’m so thankful and grateful to have chosen this team to help my kitty move on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 💕

Dr. Amanda and Angelyn gave me such an amazing experience. From the moment they entered they got onto my cat Trouble's level and greeted him with compliments and treats. They let me sit with my boy exactly how he enjoyed and walked me through every step of the process. They talked to and praised Trouble when I couldn't find the words and didn't bat an eye at my grief. They talked with me about his story and how much he was loved, they learned about how he got his name and his personality, the whole process was as beautiful, thoughtful, and caring as I could imagine. It saved Trouble from an uncomfortable vet visit and let him pass in his home peacefully. Trouble will always be in my heart and I thank Wildwood for such a beautiful last few moments with him.

There are no adequate words to describe our gratitude and thanks to Dr. Amanda and Angelyn when they helped our sweet 21-year old cat, Pookie, transition and cross the Rainbow Bridge. Their care and empathy were so comforting. They showed us grace and supported both of us during Pookie's transition and treated Pookie with the utmost reverance and care. We cannot recommend Wildwood highly enough - not only are they skilled and professional, but they infuse their service with love. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl in her final moments. We will never forget your kind, caring nature and how thoughtful your service was. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

What a gentle way Dr. Amanda and Angelyn gave us to release our beloved Freckles from his suffering. They took the time to hear about how much he gave us and how we love him, about his quirks and abilities, and his physical issues. Dr Amanda even altered the composition of the sedation injection to add extra anti-seizure drug to make sure he'd be relaxed during the final shot. She located the sedation shot where Freckles would best tolerate it. They worked so we could have Freckles between us on the couch, and were very supportive. They explained what was going to happen, and made sure we were ready. They made an emotionally difficult time as easy as possible. Freckles liked them, accepted treats, and seemed to know they were there to help him go as comfortably as possible. They do a challenging job with grace, compassion, and insight. What a wonderful service and people!

Dr. Amanda and Angelyn are truly amazing people. They were very compassionate and patient while I lost my sweet kitty, Mamas. They explained every step to us, what the different injections did, and how they would affect her. They made sure everyone was ready before proceeding to the next step, and gave us as much time as we all needed. They reassured us that we were doing the right thing, and that it was the best last gift we could give her. They were very gentle with her every step, and gave her an adorable basket with a blanket and pillow to be taken away in. Not only were they incredibly friendly, they weren't afraid to make jokes to make us laugh. At the end, they allowed me to carry her to the car and everyone got one last goodbye with her. They made the whole process feel beautiful, and I will definitely go to them for any future euthanasia.

I am so thankful for the referral to Wildwood from a dear friend for the in-home attention to Rosie. It was so hard to see my 20-year-old best friend go, but Dr. Amanda and Angelin were gracious, informative, gentle, loving. I had lost my husband 6 months ago and Dr. Amanda and Angelin were as competent, loving, and exceptional as the hospice nurses we were blessed with during his passing. I would recommend Wildwood, without a doubt, if ever you should experience the need.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Amanda and Angelyn for the compassionate care they provided for our dog Bandit when it came time for him to cross over. Their professionalism and kindness meant so much to us. They made sure everything was arranged promptly and treated Bandit with dignity. They allowed us the time we needed to say goodbye. They provided comfort and reassurance, affirming that we made the right decision. We cannot recommend them enough. Their compassionate approach and attention to detail made a difficult process much more manageable for our family. Their genuine compassion extended beyond the procedure. They even sent a sincere condolence card that meant the world to us. Once again, we cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are for how they handled the entire procedure. We highly recommend them.

Dr. Amanda and Ms. Angelyn helped my dog, Bentley, to cross the rainbow bridge. Dr explained to our family what she was going to do and Ms. Angelyn made a dog paw ornament of Bentley. They took care of Bentley with dignity and compassion. We are sad that Bentley is gone but felt relieved. Thank you.

I can’t express in words the gratitude my wife and I have for the experience we were provided by Dr. Amanda and Angelyn. The moment they arrived they were compassionate and walked us thru the entire journey of helping our beloved cat find peace. Dr. Amanda was reassuring about the status of our cats current health and relieving any doubts we might have had about euthanizing her. They go so above and beyond to connect with you and your animal which really helped us with processing and healing. The care they gave to her body after her passing was exceptional and heart warming. Thank you so much for doing what you do. We cannot thank you enough.

Dr Amanda took great care for our sweet girl Ryely on her passing. She understands the grief and how hard a decision it was for us. She explained everything she did and our girl passed peacefully in my arms. Dr Amanda took care of everything afterwards as well and we got Ryelys ashes back in 4 days. Her assistant Angelyn made a beautiful paw print for us. We thank you both for your kindness.

Our beloved 16 1/2 year old Dachshund Max had a sudden decline and Dr. Amanda and her assistant Angelyn came to our home late on a Friday evening so he wouldn’t have to suffer. Dr. Amanda was kind, compassionate and professional. Max was comfortable and our family was supported through the whole process. We miss his bark and spunk but are so grateful these two amazing women were there to help us all and our sweet Max is at peace now.
